What you will do
As a Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprentice, you will receive hands-on experience in a wide range of accounting functions, supporting the finance team with key tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and financial reporting.
Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining ledgers, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Support in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
- Maintain and update financial records and reports.
- Prepare month-end and year-end accounting reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
- Help with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve accounting queries.
- Undertake learning and development activities to achieve your Level 3 qualification in accounting.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this apprenticeship you will need to have achieved a Grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English
You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
