Wates Smartspace FM lands Total FM deal with Browne Jacobson

Wates Smartspace’s facilities management business has been appointed by leading national law firm, Browne Jacobson to deliver a five year Total Facilities Management (TFM) service across its UK-wide corporate portfolio.

The contract will see Wates Smartspace FM deliver a 24/7, 365 days a year structured planned, preventative and reactive building services maintenance programme across Browne Jacobson’s portfolio estate including its head office buildings in Nottingham and at locations in London, Birmingham, Exeter and Manchester.

Services will also include routine and specialist cleaning, manned and monitored security and pest control, in addition to statutory compliance delivered through Wates Smartspace FM’s in-house, bespoke Assurance Compliance Tool (ACT).

To support its delivery of soft services lines across this contract, Wates Smartspace FM has developed a tailored partnering model, using ISO44001 principals, with industry leading, privately owned, service partners.

Browne Jacobson employs over 500 lawyers, including 132 partners, and has recently seen a period of significant growth, increasing the size of the business by almost 60% over the last five years.

This contract announcement follows Wates Smartspace FM’s recent appointment by the London School of Economics and Political Science to deliver planned preventative maintenance services at over 30 campus buildings and nine halls of residence across London.
