Introduce yourself for us

Hi, I am Niamh, the PA to Midlands and South West.

How long have you been in your current role? I have been with the organisation, in it’s different guises, since 2004.

What brought you to Wates?  A recruitment agency put me in contact back in 2004 and after an few interviews with the then Regional Director, I was lucky to be offered the role.

What advice would you give to women entering the industry?

To develop and then demonstrate your professional expertise whenever possible.  To be yourself too.

Who are your role models?

Mary Robinson, the first female President of Ireland and has gone on to influential roles within the United Nations.

Tell us something unusual about you.

This is best answered by the lads in the office!

What changes would you like to see in 100 years time?

A truly equitable society, where people have proper representation at all levels, and the gap between rich and poor is fairer.
