About the programme

We strive to offer excellent customer service, and we achieve this by ensuring our customer service apprentices have the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to provide this.

As a Customer Service Apprentice at Wates, you will be an ambassador of excellent customer service, from dealing with customer requests to ensuring questions are dealt with.

In addition to your on-the-job training, we will also ensure you receive the support needed to complete a recognised Customer Service Apprenticeship.

Carpenter/ Multi Trader

Location: Crawley

Job Type: Trades and Labour

Wates have an opportunity for a Carpenter/ Multi to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division. You will be working out of our Crawley office on one of our social housing contracts, delivering reactive maintenance to our residents.Key Accountabilities will include: Undertaking repair/renewal works Advising Supervisor in a timely manner where other trades are required Working solely on certain tasks Working in partnership with other operatives to complete certain tasks Completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken Working in a timely and productive manner to complete programme tasksYou must have a full UK driving licence.To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to problem solve, multi task, work to tight deadlines, have high standard of workmanship, productivity levels and ability to provide excellent customer service at all times is essential.

Administrator

Here at Wates, we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Living Space Responsive Maintenance team based in the South Derbyshire area. As an administrator you will engage within the full administration process and provide on-going customer support for the team and tenants. Key Accountabilities will include: On-going management and development of multiple project trackers. Frequent contact with site management to ensure project trackers represent current job status. Create and maintain various data streams on in-house systems and databases. First line support for enquires and complaints. Overall administration duties as required by the contract. We are looking for an Administrator who is a confident communicator, computer literate with experience in Excel and trackers. Experience working in construction/facilities management/or maintenance is preferred but not essential. To be successful in this role you will be a team player who can manage their own workload, has a good attention to detail and most of all have a ‘can do’ attitude. Application Support Analyst

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst at our Head Office in Leatherhead to work within the Business Applications and Analysis team to provide support for our platforms across the Wates Group business, in particular our Finance systems, for up to 14 months covering Parental Leave.ABOUT THE ROLE:We are looking for you to have solid system/ process experience, ideally with Intuita or other finance systems. You will be proficient in MS Office including Visio and have knowledge of ITIL.To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator at all levels with the ability to develop excellent working relationships with the team, business users and suppliers. You will be process orientated with good attention to details and be able to produce clear and concise documentation.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Key Accountabilities of an Application Support Analyst include: Provide day to day support for our Finance system Intuita and to be the primary point of contact for administrative support to the system’s end users. Manage system’s upgrade projects in conjunction with required parties. Supporting the analysis for business-driven change requests and establish business and application impact, effort involved and high-level cost. Assistant Design Manager

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager to join our Wates team within our Planned Maintenance division. You will be covering Kilburn, Stevenage, Greenwich, and the London area. You will work collaboratively with our Design Managers/Senior Design Managers supporting the team to drive quality outcomes, enhance buildability and foster innovation.As our Assistant Design Manager, you will: Work with the Design Manager to produce and manage the design programme and Information Required Schedule. Provide guidance to the Project team on design related issues. Coordinate project team comments and resolve any design related queries with the design team. Assist in the production of the Proposals, ensuring they are complete and unambiguous. Review all design deliverables, including specialist supplier elements and interfaces to establish that they are within budget are fully coordinated and are buildable.We are looking for a designer with knowledge of building methods and technologies, procurement, and risk management. You will have a basic understanding of contracts, contract documentation, planning techniques, management systems, life cycle cost and value.
