Christina has worked in the private, public and charitable sectors for many years and has travelled extensively and enjoys listening to music and volunteering. She has ensured successful delivery of many projects since joining Wates the end of 2020, including funding of over £20k from the Wates Family Enterprise Trust, launched a new online free training platforms for residents and became a mentor for year 13 students.
As the Community Investment Manager for the London/South region, Christina oversees approximately 40 contracts ensuring social value is delivered and that opportunities for young people are made available particularly around skills and employment.
Christina is able to engage well with others such as work experience students, colleagues and teachers and has an excellent network of partnerships such as Career Ready, Reed In Partnership and Construction Youth UK. Christina has delivered many presentations such as ‘working in the construction industry’ for Peabody Housing Association and Harrow Council along with delivering presentations at Meet the Buyer events talking about the importance of social value.
Her previous experience includes managing multi-million-pound environmental improvement programmes, health and safety programmes, four years as a High School Governor and more recently being an NHS responder during Covid.
