Wates Facilities Management has secured a three-year contract with global investment management organisation, Barings.
The new appointment will see Wates FM deliver Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) maintenance over a three-year period at Barings’ Old Bailey premises in London. The M&E provision includes power, lighting, air conditioning, building management system (BMS), fire protection, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and catering equipment.
The contract is the third competitive tender to be successfully secured by Wates FM with Barings, extending the businesses’ relationship to ten years.
The continued partnership will also see Wates FM support Barings’ Environmental and Social Governance Agenda through the adoption of sustainable technology and the engagement of local Social Enterprises.
James Gregg, Managing Director of Wates FM, commented:
“Since formally launching as Wates FM in June last year we have sustained a steady path of expansion. This is a balance of growth from our core client base and an emergence into new sectors in both the private and public sectors.
“We have worked with Barings since 2013 and our appointment to the new M&E contract is a huge testament to the expertise of our team and our position as a trusted and reliable FM partner.”
