Five year responsive repairs and planned maintenance contract, extending across 13 boroughs in north and east London.
Newlon Housing Trust is one of Londons key developers of new affordable housing stock and manages around 8,000 affordable homes across a mix of affordable tenures in the capital. In 2015, Wates Living Space was appointed by Newlon and a selection of its residents to deliver an initial five year responsive repairs and planned maintenance contract, extending across 13 boroughs in north and east London.
Many of the properties maintained by Wates Living Space house vulnerable residents. As a result, our customer liaison manager is partnering with Outward, Newlons care and support partner, to provide specialist care for the elderly, disabled and those with learning difficulties while repairs are being co-ordinated.
The site team also secured a grant of £5,000 from Wates Giving to support one of Newlons local initiatives that promotes fitness and healthy living in Hackney.
