We believe our industry should be more representative of the communities it serves, and we, in turn, must play our part in promoting careers in the built environment for everyone and championing the role models we have in our own businesses.
2018 was a milestone year as it marked 100 years since women in the UK were given the right to vote as part of the Representation of the Peoples Act. We used this centenary as an opportunity to profile many of our female colleagues, from various levels and in a variety of roles.
The Centenary may be over, but the journey to gender equality continues. We will continue to champion the talented women in our business and will use events such as International Womens Day to continue to promote a better gender balance across our industry.
