• A long history of working with local communities means we have the expertise, connections and tried and tested processes to get things done in local communities across the country.
• We believe through collaboration we can make a difference to local communities. We work closely with organisations such as Construction Skills, The Prince's Trust, Shelter, Working Links, Job Centre Plus and others.
• We want to leave a long term legacy that can be felt long after our construction project is complete and, where possible, we will seek funding to ensure the solutions we deliver are sustainable. Our annual community day is just one example and benefits over 80 community projects across the UK.
• Wates Giving is the charitable programme supported by the Wates Family Enterprise Trust which, along with other charitable vehicles, has given over £1.2m to local community projects across the UK.
