Sod cutting ceremony at Chalney School

building schools for the future

Wates Education will ensure that any educational facility will be delivered in the most efficient, cost-effective way, enabling pupils to go to schools equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to help ensure that they have the best start in life possible.

  • By engaging with community groups, we help to sustain communities by improving a whole raft of social, environmental and economic factors. A vital part of our legacy is to reduce NEET (not in employment, education or training) by providing new jobs that help to increase the skilled workforce in the community.
  • We provide the most comprehensive service possible. Our design and ICT input is an essential element of ensuring a school is a success from the very first moment its first term begins.  We also provide facilities management for the end users to manage the change and ensure that nothing interrupts the smooth transfer from one building to the next.
  • We work in partnership with Local Authorities to deliver a collective vision and draw on the experience and the strength of our teams to ultimately transform educational environments within the communities.
  • We are used to building in live environments, where the school must continue to function on a daily basis while further building carries on around the pupils and staff.

Already, we have designed and built world class primary, secondary and further education facilities, including numerous City Academies.
