This project consisted of the conversion of 2 single storey retail units into a Tesco Express with a gross floor area of 4891sq/ft. Wates Retail also constructed a stand alone retail unit within the Tesco Express foot print which was used as a site office during the works.
An asbestos strip out was undertaken and a clear air certificate received prior to the works commencing. There are residential flats above the store and an acoustic barrier
has been installed to the soffit of the flats to ensure noise intrusion is minimal. We then installed ‘services’ and finally the suspended ceiling was installed. We also installed all the bespoke shop fronts including an ATM. The project was delivered to a high standard on time and on budget.
