Our 100th Simply Food store for retail giant M&S was completed in October 2007. The store opened its doors to shoppers in Tring, on time and on budget. The contemporary-look M&S Simply Food replaces a Budgens and provides a welcome addition to Tring’s busy High Street.
Commenting on the quality of the project management Robert Martin, Senior Project Manager for Rider Levett Bucknall UK Ltd, said ‘Just to let you know that today at Tring was excellent. The store was complete with minor works going on where the team had picked up on things and was trying to improve the store.’
Wates Retail is the sole supplier of the Simply Food store concept to M&S. The two companies have formed a strong and enduring partnership based on mutual respect and a set of clearly defined, shared values. It is the transparency and alignment of these values that has allowed the partnership to extend beyond supplier/customer to
create real added value.
