Wates Construction was awarded this £23.5m project by Land Securities in May 2010. The new build luxury apartment development is situated close to Buckingham Palace.
The project includes providing retail shells at ground floor, plus a full basement with car parking, cycle stores and plant rooms.
The 9 storey scheme reuses the basement slab of the former government offices that stood on the site, will feature an extensive grey water system and generate power from rooftop Photovoltaic arrays. The elevations will be clad in Indian red sandstone precast panels, with graphic inlays and have full floor height curtain walled glazing.
