- Development constructed under 3 separate contracts, 2 with the Developer [Day Centre & Waitrose Shell] & 1 with Waitrose [Fit-out works]
- Smooth handover between the shell and fit-out works owing to Wates Retail being the Main Contractor for both
- Intelligent programming led to an overall reduction of the contract duration by 3 weeks
- Best in class safety standards and attitudes
- 95% of waste was recycled.
- Excellent reports from HSE and Considerate Construction scheme
- Positive communication on cost control for the duration resulted in the final account being achieved at practical completion
- The Wates fit-out team were awarded the Retail Business Contribution award 2008 for ‘Project of the Year’
- Letters of recommendation received from the Local Chamber of Commerce
