TGI Friday's
This project was the first for this customer located on a busy retail park on the outskirts of Cardiff. The tight programme was carried out over four and a half days 24/7 from the close of the restaurant on a Sunday evening, it was ready to open again to the public by the Friday evening.
The project involved the revamp of the entire front-of-house area including all new décor, walls and flooring, padded alcove seating, foyer, POS areas, bar, lighting and services.
The interior decoration included a range of weird and wonderful bric-a-brac including baseball bats, American street signs, surfboards and a life size Dart Vader! Wates Retail prepared the background and surrounds on two walls for a professional Graffiti artist to come in and create two backdrops – a New York street scene and sharks!
Wates Retail surpassed TGI Friday’s expectations who commented that the delivery was ‘outstanding’, especially for a first project.
