Safe, Secure & Efficient – another mission critical data centre build
As the leading pan European provider of network independent data centres Telecity was looking for technical expertise and cost and programme certainty when it embarked on its largest and most complex centre located in North London. A ‘one-solution’ approach meant Wates Technology worked seamlessly to create the 5000m2 of space containing more than £7m of plant. The M&E installation included UPS and generator lacked electrical systems with the main halls providing high density capability cooling by a forced air down flow system along with gas suppression and fire detection.
The Tier 3+ system was introduced in three sections providing 8 data halls. Over 200,000 accident free man hours was achieved on site.
