Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hyde Park
Wates Retail completed this luxurious Health Spa and Fitness Suite for Mandarin Oriental Hotels as part of a lavish refurbishment to this well-known hotel. Working together with Project Managers and architects, Eric Parry, this £1.7million project was completed in 16 weeks including full mechanical and electrical installation. The fit-out works comprised main reception area, treatment rooms, relaxation area, gymnasium, pool and changing facilities, solarium, sonarium, saunas and steam rooms. A host of differing finishes and treatments were specified such as a cracked effect Page Lacquer to the treatment room wall panels, patterned and profiled glass partitioning, American Black Walnut timbers to various locations and multi-layered GRG ceiling features. The client was delighted with this final result of this project which together with works to the hotel bar has been featured in a number of national publications as a place to be seen amongst the rich and famous.
