Kyla Fry, Resident Liaison Officer
Kyla Fry had absolutely no experience of the construction industry when she went along to her Building Futures programme.
Wates, spotting her talent on the programme, suggested she train to be a Resident Liaison Officer with Wates Living Space London. “No two days are ever the same,” said Kyla who started her career shadowing the Resident Liaison Officer at The Warwick Towers on Harrow Road. “I build up such good relationships with residents and the trades people that I can’t go anywhere without bumping into someone for a chat. I meet some wonderful people and have fitted in really well. I am really able to just be myself here, although I dowork really hard.”
So successful has Kyla been since completing her Building Futures programme that she has worked as Champion on a subsequent Building Futures scheme. Being a Champion involved Kyla in conveying her experience
