King’s Park, St Albans
Wates Developments, in partnership with Linden Homes, secured this prime 30 acre site in St Albans in 2010. The site has the benefit of outline planning consents for 150 family homes and in addition 166 dwellings comprising of homes for the over-55s, a care home, assisted living apartments and key worker units. The retirement element of the site was sold to Beechcroft (specialist retirement developer) in partnership with the Berkeley Group. All developers are working in collaboration to secure the reserved matters planning consent in 2011.
