Working alongside HSBC, Wates delivers their retail banking and commercial requirements nationally. Wates Interiors kick started the relationship with HSBC by delivering their flagship branch on Queen Victoria Street, London. Successful delivery of this large and complicated scheme paved the way for Wates Retail to win a place on the five year retail framework in 2008.
Since joining the framework, Wates Retail has worked with HSBC to support them on:
- Programme reduction - reduced the standard 12 week programme to ten weeks on the Weybridge project through early collaboration with the team and streamlining of information.
- Cost saving - We saved HSBC 25% on prelim spend through reducing the Edinburgh programme by 6 weeks from 24 to 18 by overlapping phases. This also allowed them to occupy the space quicker.
- Quality improvements - 8 projects delivered totally defect free on the HFC account
- Innovation - shared best practice, sustainability and innovation initiatives with HSBC which led to 75% of site waste being recycled on our HFC projects
- Minimal impact to trading - A full Turn-key offer was developed alongside the HSBC team to successfully relocate the Beneficial Finance brand
- Ease and speed of success - Wates fully managed the programme to relocate their entire Beneficial Finance portfolio
- Making their lives easier - Wates deliver projects in Offices, Critical Buildings and Critical Engineering work streams, offering peace of mind to the customer through an experienced on stop shop
