Wates set up our business in Scotland four years ago and we currently have 12 live projects running in this region.  We have a very strong balance sheet and our customers value our business culture and our CR agenda. We have approximately 50 employees.

Major projects include:

• Glasgow Housing Association – Multi-storey Refurbishment framework worth £45m
• Crindledyke, Newmains – New Build 48 houses and cottage flats, which is a four year framework worth £4.6m
• Marks and Spencer, Galashiels – Fit out of first store to operate without the use of any climate-harmful refrigerant gases. The project was worth £2m.

Wates is committed to supporting the local community and the Scotland business has supported Lintel Trust for four years raising funds which have benefitted local community groups through the Trust.
