Commercial Manager
Purpose:
- Lead, manage and support all pre and post contract commercial activities within the regional office.
Position Typically Reports To:
Regional Director or Commercial Director
Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
- Recruitment Training and Development of all pre and post contract commercial teams.
- Commercial strategy within the region.
- Risk Management within the region.
- Implementation of Wates Commercial Policies.
- Cash management and Profitability of Projects.
- Developing relationships with clients/supply chain/professional team.
Key Tasks:
- Maximise Profit and Cash.
- Overall financial, contractual and legal control of regions activities.
- Set Commercial strategy.
- Implement companies commercial policies.
- Timely settlement of final accounts.
- Timely production and settlement of claims and L & E.
- Preparation of companies Financial reports.
- Manage Dispute resolution.
- Form relationships with Client/PQS/Consultant/Supply Chain/Regional Staff.
- Promote Company Image.
- Market the Company.
- Form partnership with Regional Director.
- Coach for Best Practice.
- Risk management within region.
- Implement SHE policy.
