Commercial Manager

Purpose:

  • Lead, manage and support all pre and post contract commercial activities within the regional office.

Position Typically Reports To:

Regional Director or Commercial Director

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:

  • Recruitment Training and Development of all pre and post contract commercial teams.
  • Commercial strategy within the region.
  • Risk Management within the region.
  • Implementation of Wates Commercial Policies.
  • Cash management and Profitability of Projects.
  • Developing relationships with clients/supply chain/professional team.

Key Tasks:

  1. Maximise Profit and Cash.
  2. Overall financial, contractual and legal control of regions activities.
  3. Set Commercial strategy.
  4. Implement companies commercial policies.
  5. Timely settlement of final accounts.
  6. Timely production and settlement of claims and L & E.
  7. Preparation of companies Financial reports.
  8. Manage Dispute resolution.
  9. Form relationships with Client/PQS/Consultant/Supply Chain/Regional Staff.
  10. Promote Company Image.
  11. Market the Company.
  12. Form partnership with Regional Director.
  13. Coach for Best Practice.
  14. Risk management within region.
  15. Implement SHE policy.
