Wates receives double Sunday Times Best Companies honour

The Wates Group has been presented with the “Giving Something Back” award as part of the 2010 Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For index.
The accolade was presented to Wates in recognition of its ability to combine corporate charitable giving with encouragement for staff activity and involvement. It was also one of only six special awards presented to celebrate companies whose exceptional leadership cares for employees and the environment.
The 2010 Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For index was published at the beginning of March. This is the first time that the Wates Group has been in this prestigious listing which recognises highly engaged workplaces and is compiled from surveying employees in 960 companies across the UK.
