Wates Living Space awarded Partner Employer Award

10 February, 2010

Wates Living Space has been awarded the Partner Employer Award at the recent Scientiam Awards.

Scientiam, a leading work based learning provider staged the awards evening to recognise successful young apprentices and their employers from across Merseyside.

The event held at Bromborough’s Village Hotel played host to more than 120 guests including friends and family of apprentices and partner employers.

Mandi O’Shea MD of Scientiam said, “Wates Living Space have been incredibly proactive in their approach to developing their workforce and have helped us to design and deliver highly effective Customer Service NVQ that works for them.  Steve Jackson and Carla White were very clear in what they expected from their training programme and were equally clear about the benefit this would need to bring to their business so it is no surprise that Wates have achieved the performance improvements they expected".

Steve Jackson, Business Unit Director said, “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised at these awards. The NVQ has proved to be a great programme for all our Resident Liaison staff who have really benefited from the programme which in turn benefits us as a business, I would like to personally thank the staff at Scientiam for all their assistance with this programme.”
