Customers need to be certain that we will deliver, every time. Wates’ goal is clear: 100% delivery on time. In 2010, we delivered 99% of projects on time. Recent investments in key account management skills and state of the art CRM tools enhance our ability to understand and respond to customers’ business issues. The introduction of Wates Professional Standards will strengthen our delivery model and enhance our approach to risk management.

In 2010, we invested over £4m in innovation and research to create new efficiencies in our processes. Rod Stewart joined as Group Production Director and will lead the development of new processes that will underpin customer delivery, efficiency and business growth for the future. We are also investing in company-wide knowledge management systems such as SharePoint. These investments will help us to further unlock the value of best practice across the Group.
